Building and Facilities: Ntsimango Residence stands tall as a contemporary, purpose-built structure with an architecturally appealing design. The building features state-of-the-art facilities and amenities to ensure the utmost comfort and convenience for its residents. The interior is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully laid out, creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. We furthermore pride ourselves with unending supply of cold and hot water. We are enabled by water supply from the municipality, an in house borehole that pumps more than 5000 liters per day. As if that is not enough, we have more than Ten 5000 liters water tanks that serves as reserves. Ntsimango residence has energy supply from ESKOM and two generators. One generator is 65 KVA which is very powerful and provides power for more than our needs. Over and above out of our 7 big kitchens we also have a large GAS Kitchen with many GAS stoves that accommodates more than 70% of the 78 students cooking at the same time. We provide a very powerful, endless supply of internet connection in each room, study, kitchen, including playgrounds in the facility and outside. We also pride ourselves with huge open space with two huge flower gardens, a big braai area, a volleyball court and a netball field within our residence. Living Spaces: Each student is allocated a well-furnished and very spacious bedroom, providing them with a personal sanctuary for relaxation and focused study. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, study desks, study lamps, pin board, mirror, chairs, waste paper bins, lockable clothes cupboard, book shelf, towel rails, wall mounted heater, 15 Amp electric sockets, ample storage space, and high-speed internet connectivity. Natural light floods the rooms, creating a pleasant and uplifting ambiance. Shared Spaces: To encourage interaction and foster a sense of community, Ntsimango Residence offers a variety of shared spaces where students can connect, socialize, and collaborate. This include 3 large communal lounges with comfortable seating. 3 large 55 inch plasma TV’s with DSTV explora where students have access to all DSTV channels. Additionally, there are dedicated study areas and group study rooms equipped to facilitate collaborative learning.
