Luticare is located 4.2 kilometres from the Walter Sisulu University's main campus. It is situated in a rural area called Bhongweni. The premises are secure with a perimeter wall, all around the property. Other security features include CCTV and onsite security guard with PSIRA level C certification. It consists of 10 double rooms plus 2 single rooms. Ablution facilities onsite consists of 5 showers. There are also 4 toilets. The common room has a TV, DSTV explora, a dining table and sofas for the relaxation of the students. Another feature of the residence is Wi-Fi that has unlimited availability and supported by the backup power should there be load shedding. The kitchen has lockable cupboards, microwave, gas stove, 2 fridges and a standalone freezer. For fire prevention, there is a fire blanket which can be used to put out fire (students are shown how to use it).
